From that day on, only 10 startup companies can be supported for PR applications each year. The newly implemented quota system will be maintained at least until the end of 2026.

Eligibility

1. Business support:
Get a letter of support: Applicants must get a letter of support from a designated Canadian venture capital fund, angel investor or Canadian small business. This means that your business plan must be evaluated by them and supported, proving that it is innovative and feasible.
2. Language proficiency:
Language test: English or French proficiency of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 5 is required. This is usually demonstrated by passing a recognized language test (such as IELTS or TEF).
3. Funding requirements:
Applicants must prove that they have sufficient funds to support themselves and their family in Canada. The specific requirements vary depending on the number of family members, but usually require sufficient liquid funds and bank deposit certificates.
4. Educational background:
