Application conditions

• Aged 18 or above

• No criminal record policy

• Investors can choose one of the following options:

• 1. 250,000 Euros: Purchase bonds issued by a real estate fund registered with the Hungarian National Bank (MNB)

• 2. 500,000 Euros: Purchase residential real estate in Hungary

• 3. 1 million Euros: Donate to a designated educational or cultural institution

• Hold for at least 5 years

Processing procedures

• Applicants must obtain a visitor investor visa and declare a commitment to one of the investment options during the visa application process, although it is not mandatory to complete the investment at this stage.

• After obtaining a visitor investor visa, the applicant must travel to Hungary, complete the investment within three months, and apply for a visitor investor residence permit within 93 days at the Immigration Office or through the electronic platform "Enter Hungary". Proof of investment must also be provided at the same time as the application. Once all requirements are met, it is no longer necessary to travel to Hungary.

• The applicant and his/her eligible spouse and children will be granted a long-term residence permit valid for 10 years, which can be renewed for approximately another 10 years if the investment is maintained.

• The application processing time is approximately 21 working days.
